AIR BAGS:PASSENGER SIDE FRONTAL:CUSHION
Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Jaguar) is recalling certain 2020–2025 Range Rover Evoque vehicles. The passenger air bag may tear during deployment.
Consequence

Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Land Rover) is recalling certain 2021-2024 Land Rover Range Rover Velar and Land Rover Discovery, 2020-2023 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque, 2019-2024 Land Rover Range Rover Sport, 2020-2024 Land Rover Range Rover, 2020 Land Rover Discovery Sport, 2020-2024 Land Rover Defender, 2021-2024 Jaguar F-Pace, and 2021-2022 Jaguar E-Pace mild-hybrid electric vehicles (MHEVs.) The DC-DC converter can fail due to an internal fault in the boost control microchip. How this compares
At 22 MPG combined, the 2022 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque ranks 3rd of 5 small SUVs (4WD) EPA rated for 2022 — exactly the 22 MPG median for that group.
That places it a little below the middle of its class. If annual mileage is high, the running-cost gap against a class-average rival compounds quickly.
EPA puts annual fuel spend at about $3,450, within $0 of the $3,450 typical for the class — roughly $17,250 over five years.
Tailpipe CO₂ is 398 grams per mile — about 6 metric tons over 15,000 miles of driving.
