What the defect is
Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Land Rover) is recalling certain 2024 Land Rover Range Rover vehicles. The engine mounted oil cooler hoses may not be secured properly, which can result in oil leaking onto the road.
Why it matters
Oil leaking onto the road can cause a hazard for other road users, increasing the risk of a crash.
The remedy
Dealers will inspect and replace the fasteners and the oil cooler hoses, as necessary, free of charge. Owner letters were mailed January 18, 2024. Owners may contact Land Rover customer service at 1-800-637-6837. Land Rover's number for this recall is N845.
What this page does not include
NHTSA's public recall feed does not supply an affected-population count, the manufacturer's own campaign number, owner-notification dates or a defect chronology for this campaign. Rather than estimate them, we omit them. Confirm whether a specific vehicle is affected — and whether the repair has already been done — using its VIN.
