ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,UNKNOWN OR OTHER — Filed 07/19/2026
I went to charge my car Sunday morning, and throughout the day it kept showing on the dashboard that the charge door was open. I stopped several times to check, and the charge door was actually closed, which was really strange. Later, I went into a store for less than 10 minutes. I locked my car before going inside, but when I came back out, all the windows were down. It honestly scared me because I have no idea how that could have happened. I shared my experience with a coworker who has the same car, and he told me the exact same thing happened to him. It’s so strange and concerning. This is the first time it has happened to me, but now I’m nervous about leaving anything inside the car, wondering if the windows could randomly open again.
UNKNOWN OR OTHER,BACK OVER PREVENTION — Filed 07/18/2026
While getting ready to parallel park the car, the entire screen system (dashboard, center console) went completely blank. This completely eliminates visibility to all safety aids, speed of vehicle, and warning systems. This has happened with this specific vehicle in the past, and the vehicle has been updated by Honda dealership. it has not been brought to a dealer quite yet. I am awaiting the dealerships opening and availability of a loaner vehicle. I have an ongoing case with Honda on this vehicle, Case # 16062775.
STEERING — Filed 09/30/2025
Both left and right CV axles make loud clicking, grinding noise when turning. I reported this issue to Honda at around 6,500 miles. At first I was told we are waiting for a solution. Now the dealership's service manager says that there is no safety issue and that Honda has no intention of fixing the problem. The car currently has less than 16,000 miles and the clicking just keeps getting louder. It doesn't feel safe and at the very least it's annoying and unacceptable.
FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE — Filed 07/12/2026
I was traveling on Interstate 80 with adaptive cruise control set at 70. The cruise control normally recognizes slower cars ahead and slows or stops as necessary. I saw that cars were stopped ahead so I reduced the cruise control setting to 60 to "help" it slow down. However, we came up fast on the stopped cars and the car did not slow. I had to manually brake to avoid a collision. The car's speed was about 67 when I applied the brakes. The car acted like slowing to the new cruise control setting of 60 was overriding the collision avoidance. I recently had much of the software in the car updated due to a recall and the adaptive cruise control seems to be acting differently now. Weather was clear, around 4pm, and the roads were dry. We were Eastbound around a slight left curve (not sharp) and traffic was stopped ahead in all 5 lanes, so the system should have noticed the obstacles ahead.
POWER TRAIN — Filed 07/17/2026
Known design flaw of the CV joint failing under the weight of the vehicle causing a clicking sound when turning and eventually rendering the vehicle useless.
STEERING,UNKNOWN OR OTHER,FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE — Filed 07/04/2026
WHEN I USED ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL, MY CAR TENDS TO LEAN SLIGHTLY TO THE RIGHT. IT VEERS OVER A BIT AND THEN JERKS TO THE LEFT. ALL IN ALL, I CAN'T USE ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL ON THE FREEWAY WITHOUT PAYING ATTENTION. IT IS GENUINELY DANGEROUS IF VEHICLES ARE DRIVING ALONGSIDE OR BEHIND ME. OTHER THING, WHEN I USED ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL FOR ALMOST ONE HOUR, THEN IT SUDDENLY BECOMES INACTIVE. IF I HAVE BEEN FOLLOW ANOTHER CAR, then what should happen when it suddenly becomes inactive??? I was very lucky at that time because there was no car in front of me. After 5,000 miles, my car began to make a slight noise on the right side when I slowed down in the city. Maybe it happened in the front drive axle assemblies or the front right low arm control.

Battery failed and Battery will not charge. Car has 39,000 miles and is a 2024. Has been at the dealer for 3 days. Was driving to [XXX] from [XXX]. Will have to fly back and get the car if a repair is able to be made. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM — Filed 07/05/2026
The screens (odometer and center entertainment console) both went blank while driving on the highway today. I had brought the vehicle in for the previous recall to have the update installed to prevent this problem.
EXTERIOR LIGHTING — Filed 07/02/2026
I am unable to manually turn on my lights, the vehicle stays on ‘automatic lights’. Headlight function remains normal within the automated functions, however, pursuing to Florida Statute 316.217 manual headlight control is necessary to turn on my headlights. The windshield wipers are an operation which does not take place unless the windshield wipers traveling at such speed, automated light control turns them on automatically. The cause of this is directly related to the software in the entertainment system that manually locks out the driver from addressing and turning on their own headlights.
POWER TRAIN — Filed 02/26/2025
Both front axels have been making loud clicking noise and clunking vibration while turning since the vehicle roughly reached 2000 miles. The vehicle was taken into Honda Auto Center of Bellevue, and I was told that is was a known issue, Honda was no longer allowing warranty replacements of axels and that is was "just a noise the car will make".
