The contact owns a 2023 Toyota Rav4 Prime. The contact parked the vehicle and the vehicle remained at the parking lot for one week. The contact returned and started the vehicle and the instrument cluster was black. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V595000 (Electrical System); however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The contact had taken the vehicle to a local dealer and was advised that the remedy was not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 60,000.

The contact owns a 2023 Toyota Rav4 Hybrid. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the steering wheel failed to turn in the intended direction. The contact stated that the steering wheel was pulling to the left, almost causing the vehicle to crash into a wall. The contact’s minor child was an occupant in the vehicle at the time of the failure. The contact stated that the failure had occurred several times. The contact stated that the failure occurred while the contact's wife was driving the vehicle. The contact stated that the failure almost caused a crash with another vehicle. The contact stated that one of the dealers deactivated the safety features to prevent the failure from reoccurring. In addition, the contact stated while driving at 80 MPH, the moon roof fractured. The contact stated that the moon roof curtain was closed, which prevented the shattered glass from entering the interior of the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealer. The contact was informed that the failure was due to the impact of an object. The contact was informed that the moon roof needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The contact was informed that a buyback of the vehicle was an option. The failure mileage was approximately 4,000.

The contact owns a 2023 Toyota Rav4 Hybrid. The contact stated while driving 15-20 MPH, the vehicle unexpectedly stopped. There were no warning lights illuminated. The contact attempted to restart the vehicle several times. After the failure, the engine and brake warning lights illuminated. The contact called the local dealer and was informed to hold the key fob near the ignition. The contact turned on the hazard lights and called AAA, who towed the vehicle to the local dealer. The dealer determined there was no input and the vehicle failed to communicate. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was approximately 5,000.

The contact reviewed the Home Security footage and confirmed that there was no impact with the mirror to cause the failure. The contact stated while driving at various speeds with 3 gallons of fuel remaining in the fuel tank, the message "Low Fuel" was displayed, and the instrument cluster turned blank. The contact stated that the instrument cluster remained blank and inoperable until fuel was added to the vehicle. The contact stated that the failure had been recurring while driving. Additionally, the contact stated while refueling the vehicle at a gas station, the fuel tank capacity was 10.5 gallons; however, the vehicle was designed with a fuel tank capacity of 14.5 gallons. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where the contact was informed that the vehicle was operating as designed. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 4,000.

The contact owns a 2023 Toyota Rav4 Hybrid. The contact stated while driving approximately 45 MPH, the contact depressed the brake pedal with force due to a traffic slow down, and the vehicle stalled while depressing the brake pedal. The contact was coasting and placed the vehicle in neutral(N) and attempted to restart the vehicle and the vehicle failed to start. The contact coasted to the center turn lane and stopped the vehicle, shifted into park(P), and restarted the vehicle. The contact was unaware if there were any warning lights illuminated. The contact drove the vehicle to a local dealer however, the dealer was unable to duplicate the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact stated that the failure was intermittent.
