How this compares
At 19 MPG combined, the 2024 Chevrolet Corvette ranks 4th of 4 two seaters EPA rated for 2024 — 4 MPG short of the 23 MPG median for that group.
That places it among the thirstiest vehicles in its class. If annual mileage is high, the running-cost gap against a class-average rival compounds quickly.
EPA puts annual fuel spend at about $4,000, $700 more than the $3,300 typical for the class. Over five years at 15,000 miles a year that is roughly $20,000, a $3,500 difference against a class-median vehicle.
Tailpipe CO₂ is 472 grams per mile — about 7.1 metric tons over 15,000 miles of driving.
