    Safety restraint issue

    SEAT BELTS:FRONT:RETRACTOR

General Motors, LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Chevrolet Corvette vehicles. The driver and/or passenger seat belt retractors may lock in a stowed position and become inaccessible to occupants.

    Consequence

An inaccessible seat belt that cannot restrain an occupant, increases the risk of injury in a crash.

    Remedy

Dealers will replace the driver and/or passenger seat belt retractors, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 19, 2024. Owners may contact Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020. GM's number for this recall is N242441390.

    Fuel system issue

    FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE

General Motors, LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2023–2026 Chevrolet Corvette vehicles equipped with a left-side radiator/fan combination. Excess fuel may spill into the vehicle fuel-filler pocket during refueling and leak onto an ignition source.

    Consequence

A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source, such as hot engine or exhaust components, can increase the risk of a fire.

    Remedy

Dealers will install a shield to divert spilled fuel, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 14, 2025. Owners may contact Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020. GM's number for this recall is N252514930.

    Lighting issue

    EXTERIOR LIGHTING:TURN SIGNAL

General Motors, LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2026 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1X Coupe, Corvette ZR1X Convertible, Corvette Coupe E-Ray, Corvette Convertible E-Ray, Corvette Convertible, Corvette Coupe, 2025 Corvette E-Ray Coupe, Corvette E-Ray Convertible, Corvette Convertible, and Corvette Coupe vehicles. A software error may prevent detection of a rear turn signal light failure. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."

    Consequence

The driver may be unaware that the turn signal is not working, increasing the risk of a crash.

    Remedy

The lighting control module software will be updated by a dealer, or through an over-the-air (OTA) update, free of charge. Owner notification letters are scheduled to be mailed May 18, 2026. Owners may contact Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020. GM's number for this recall is N252541250. How this compares

At 19 MPG combined, the 2025 Chevrolet Corvette ranks 4th of 4 two seaters EPA rated for 2025 — 4 MPG short of the 23 MPG median for that group.

That places it among the thirstiest vehicles in its class. If annual mileage is high, the running-cost gap against a class-average rival compounds quickly.

EPA puts annual fuel spend at about $4,000, $700 more than the $3,300 typical for the class. Over five years at 15,000 miles a year that is roughly $20,000, a $3,500 difference against a class-median vehicle.

Tailpipe CO₂ is 471 grams per mile — about 7.1 metric tons over 15,000 miles of driving.
