NHTSA has crash-tested 40 Jeep model years in our index, covering 6 models between 2015 and 2025. The average overall score is 4.2 stars, and 9 of those model years earned the full five.

None scored below four stars overall. A high floor across a range is common in recent model years, so the sub-scores are usually where the meaningful differences sit. The lowest rollover result here is 3 stars on the 2025 Jeep Compass; rollover measures how likely a vehicle is to roll, not how well it protects you if it does.

Star ratings compare vehicles of similar weight, so they are not transferable across classes: five stars on a compact car and five on a full-size SUV do not describe the same crash outcome.
